The set features a traditional looking Viking boat but being pulled by two rather odd looking Goats, Toothgnasher& Toothgrinder. If that doesn’t embody the look and feel of Thor’s next outing I do t know what does. Here’s a look at the stern on the bow of the boat – which has 2 grey serpents, and presumably The Goat Boat’s license plate, with NA (New Asgard) 021 on it. In Asgard’s case, the kingdom has never had a female reigning monarch before Valkyrie, and she’s a character who doesn’t seem too preoccupied with adhering to conventional gender roles. So it’s not too surprising to me that she’d willingly embrace the customary title for that seat of power (and the reputation it carries).

Jane Foster’s Mighty Thor (played by Natalie Portman) is the most exciting minifigure in the set as it’s a female Thor, and it’s fantastic to have Jane Foster make a return. She has an all-new winged helm, and is wielding Mjolnir – in the movie, she seems to have Thor’s old Mjolnir (which was destroyed by Hela) but the design is the plain old grey Mjolnir, which is slightly unfortunate. To make it a more balanced and engaging experience, NBA 2K23 went out on a limb to make their matchmaking experience more fluent with less wait times, adding modes that include no-wait gameplay to go along with Got Next spots. If you’re a Marvel/Thor fan, this set is a no-brainer, and you’ll be very pleased with what you get. Really like how they constantly switch his minifigure design up and avoid recycling him ever, which is quite refreshing for LEGO Superheroes. Maybe Taika has a clause in his contract or something.

The Completed Model

The ship’s build is sturdy and attractive. Its design is heavily reliant on the studs-not-on-top technique, and both sides of the boat are held on by plates attached to horizontal studs, as well as the dragon heads at the front of the ship.
